My son attended American Heritage for high school. The academic rigor is real; it’s not for every student, but those seeking challenges will thrive. Most teachers are highly responsible and supportive. The school offers excellent resources, especially in engineering, business, and pre-med tracks. The specialized programs, facilities, course options and intern opportunities offered go far beyond what a typical high school provides.

What also stood out was the senior year college counseling. The counselors were amazing; we never needed outside help.

Yes, the workload is demanding, but students also receive strong support. If your child is academically driven and wants great college guidance, American Heritage is an outstanding choice.

American Heritage School really stands out for how much it offers beyond just strong academics. The STEM side is especially impressive, with hands-on engineering opportunities and a math team that’s genuinely outstanding and competitive. At the same time, it’s not just for “STEM kids”—there’s a lot to get involved in, from speech and debate to theatre and many other clubs and activities, so students can explore different interests while still being challenged. College placement is a big strength, with many students going on to Ivies and other top universities. Over time, you can really see that graduates tend to become accomplished and well-prepared in whatever paths they choose. It can be a busy environment, but that’s part of what makes it exciting, and most students find it both supportive and motivating.

I have been part of the school's homestay program for two years now. In these two years, I have been truly fortunate to have such wonderful host families. They treat me like their own daughter, always caring for me and supporting me. Studying abroad, far from my parents, I still feel so warm and loved, just like being in a real home.

The school's homestay program is truly excellent for international students. All the teachers in charge are incredibly thoughtful and considerate. They meticulously look after our daily lives, organize various activities for different festivals, and we often gather in the school office to eat dumplings and hang out.

Initially, my mom was reluctant to let me join the school program. She thought it would be more reassuring to find a private homestay myself. But after I joined, she completely changed her mind. The school takes great care of every student and does its best to ensure our safety.

AHS gave me the most complete high school experience imaginable in a foreign land. The school's courses, competitions, clubs, and internship opportunities allowed me, at an age where my values were still forming, to gradually discover what I truly loved and also learn how to lead others through practice. What was even rarer was the companionship of my host family – they gave me a true "home," allowing me to feel grounded and confidently focus on my growth even thousands of miles away from my own home. My daily interactions with the host family were like an early "social rehearsal": I learned how to maintain a close relationship that wasn't based on blood ties, and through ups and downs and mutual understanding, I became more responsible and empathetic. If I had to start over, I would still choose AHS without hesitation.

If you are considering the Host Family Program at American Heritage Schools (Broward Campus), I can tell you from personal experience that it is a fantastic choice.
Many international students initially feel nervous about living with strangers, but there's truly no need to be afraid. The host families in this program are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely want you to feel at home. In my experience, the host family created a supportive environment, treating me like their own child. They not only helped me adapt to life in South Florida but also provided a safe, warm 'home base' that allowed me to transition smoothly and happily into American high school life.
This is more than just a place to sleep; it's an opportunity to build lifelong friendships!

As a parent, I really want to simply say: choosing American Heritage Schools was the right decision, especially the Broward campus. The overall experience has been excellent.

My most direct impression is that the school has a very solid grasp on academics, but without making children just memorize things. The curriculum arrangement is quite reasonable, providing both foundational knowledge and guiding children to think more critically. It's clear that my child has not only improved academically but has also become more confident and more willing to learn proactively.

The environment at the Broward campus is also very good, with complete facilities and well-regulated management, which gives us great peace of mind. The teachers are generally very responsible, and communication is timely; they proactively provide feedback on any situation, which is truly important for parents.

I must also commend Teacher Hu from the admissions office. From the initial consultation to final enrollment, she was incredibly patient and professional, answering every question and explaining everything very clearly. She anticipated many details for us, making the entire process very smooth and saving us a lot of trouble.

Overall, this is a school that gives parents peace of mind and allows children to truly grow. My second child also chose this school without hesitation.

As an educational consultant, I have collaborated with the admissions team at American Heritage School, especially Ms. Hu, for many years, and I deeply value this partnership. The team is professional, efficient, and consistently dedicated to supporting students and families.

The school's academic program is outstanding. The curriculum is designed to be both challenging and highly supportive of students' individualized growth. It provides a structured and inspiring learning environment that enables students to achieve academic heights that would be difficult to reach elsewhere.

Beyond academics, the school places great emphasis on leadership development, character building, and enhancing students' overall self-confidence. The faculty is highly qualified, passionate, and fully committed to student success.

Overall, American Heritage School is an exceptional institution, boasting strong academic rigor, a comprehensive support system, and an encouraging educational environment.

Elective courses are very diverse and fully respect children's interests and hobbies. The host families arranged by the school are safe and reliable, and electronic product control on campus is strict. There are many short holidays, and host families will take children to watch plays, attend gatherings, and go grocery shopping, making life rich and varied. The school has a strong learning atmosphere, teachers teach with dedication, and every teacher is very nice.

American Heritage Schools stand out. The moment you step onto the campus, you can feel a strong atmosphere of intellectual curiosity and a unique educational experience. The school not only offers regular American high school courses but also provides 33 AP courses and 6 major pre-professional advanced programs (including Pre-Med, Pre-Business, Pre-Law, Pre-Engineering, Pre-Computer Engineering, and Pre-Biomedical Engineering). This lays a solid academic foundation for students and prepares them comprehensively for future university life. This rigorous and challenging curriculum system enables students to face university-level academic challenges with greater composure and confidence, and helps AHS students stand out in the fierce university application process.
What's even more remarkable is that each class brings together a group of equally dedicated, and often even more resilient, classmates. They motivate each other, progress together, and ignite boundless learning enthusiasm. AHS, with its high standards of academic rigor and cultivation of students' personal resilience, helps students bravely face challenges when encountering difficulties, truly mastering the secret to efficient learning. Furthermore, AHS college counseling advisors work tirelessly day and night to meticulously refine application materials for each student; their honest and candid attitude has earned the heartfelt trust and gratitude of a vast number of students. A wide array of extracurricular activities further enhances university applications, comprehensively boosting students' overall profiles. Every classroom experience and every communication with college counseling advisors are subtly shaping the future, allowing students to gain not only knowledge but also the courage and confidence to embrace challenges.

AHS is located in the Plantation area, one of the safest communities in the U.S., just a 35-minute drive from the beautiful Miami metropolitan area and its beaches. AHS is like a colorful kaleidoscope; both children and parents have reported an excellent educational experience and highly recommend AHS!

1. **Strong Academic Prowess:** AHS boasts over 30 AP courses and a powerful faculty. The teaching staff, international student management team, curriculum, and college counseling teams are all outstanding. Every teacher is smiling, full of sincerity and love for their students!

2. **Rich Extracurricular Life:** With activities such as volunteering, art festivals, choral performances, musicals, art exhibitions, and sports events, there are over 100 club activities each year, including career preparation clubs. This allows children to balance work and play, fully enjoying comprehensive cultivation and development, fostering emotional intelligence and personality beyond academics.

3. **Mature and Comprehensive International Student Management:** Teachers from the international department and admissions officers provide professional, detailed, and thoughtful assistance with any issues students encounter both on and off campus, as warm as family. The school also has a peer mentoring system where older students can offer guidance and help, allowing new students to quickly integrate into the community.

4. **Emphasis on Competitions:** The school places importance on competitive activities, with professional coaches guiding students in subjects such as mathematics, STEM, robotics, debate, Model UN, medicine, and biology. AHS has achieved remarkable results in these national competitions.

5. **Forward-Thinking Child Development:** The school adopts a strong forward-thinking approach to child development, treating each child as a complete individual. It provides diverse and international platforms for inspiration and guidance. Under the school's nurturing, children experience rapid personal growth and a joyful learning experience!

Let me share my child's experience with course selection at AHS. The school holds course selection meetings for the next academic year every May-June. These meetings invite school counselors, students, and parents to attend. Before the meetings, school counselors provide course selection advice based on the student's previous grades and subjects. Relatively speaking, the school's Honors English 3 is quite challenging. If you start attending this school from 9th grade, you can choose some competition courses. AHS students have repeatedly won first place nationwide in competitions such as the American National Mathematics Competition and robotics.

Suggesting FS list American Heritage School as a boarding school. My child attends American Heritage School, and I'd like to share my experience. All international students' host families at American Heritage School are completely provided and managed by the school. A dedicated school staff member is responsible for coordinating students' travel to school, and airport pick-up/drop-off is uniformly arranged by the school. Upon arrival at the host family, a photo is immediately taken and sent to the parents. Daily outings for the child are arranged by the host family, and parents do not need to pay any additional fees. I believe this is even better than living in a school dormitory.

A friend's child graduated from American Heritage School, and through their recommendation, my child is now enrolled in American Heritage School - Broward Campus for 10th grade, moving into 11th. My child loves the school's academic atmosphere, teachers, environment, and host family. During the application process, I felt the school teachers were very sincere and patient, conducting a comprehensive assessment of the child and providing constructive advice. The best thing for international students at the school is that the school has its own international student management department, and does not delegate to a third-party intermediary. Therefore, students stay in the homes of teachers or the homes of current students' parents and alumni; Another point is that the school's tuition fee is All-in (including all costs for books, courses, training and examination fees, accommodation, insurance fees, and health check-up fees); The school is located in a very safe area with excellent security, where two security guards are constantly stationed at the gate to check all vehicles and bags entering and exiting; Another point is that there are many authentic Asian restaurants next to the school, and eating good food is very important for the children. As a parent with a child studying at the school, I am willing to call for support for the school.

My child enrolled in 9th grade at American Heritage School after this year's summer vacation. After 3 months of adaptation, their initial worries and unfamiliarity before coming to school have gradually disappeared. We can see the efforts the school makes for the children's development. The children not only confidently express themselves but also learn autonomy and self-discipline. It must be said that this is a school that is both strictly managed and respects individual development, cares about academic achievement, and also focuses on fostering artistic and athletic talents for the children. The teachers and staff at the school are very friendly and responsible; whether it's an issue regarding their studies or career orientation for the children, parents can always receive timely answers when needed. The school's selection of host families for the children also gives parents peace of mind; the living space is spacious, adults care for the children, and the children receive full attention on birthdays or when ill, which is very precious. We have just been there for 3 months, and it has been a good start; we are very relieved and happy. We hope to see our child's progress and growth every day.

A wonderful school, most teachers are very kind and responsible. International students are all day students, and the school will choose suitable accommodation based on the student's personality and habits. Academically, the school offers many AP courses, depending on your plan for choosing future majors. The destinations of graduates are also very diverse, with 5 or 6 students entering Ivy League schools annually. Many students also get into the top 30 universities. Moreover, many excellent universities will visit the school for recruitment presentations, and the school's academic affairs department will also remind you which universities will be holding meetings. If possible, it's best to visit American Heritage Schools to see and feel the actual atmosphere.

Without making any specific accusations, as a current student, everything I say is true.
1. All reviews about Heritage on 'Finding school' were written at the teachers' request. The school has a club dedicated to external recruitment. The club's advisor, a junior director from the Plantation campus, constantly demands that the Boca campus club do recruitment promotions for the Plantation campus, which is completely exploiting students.
2. The school always righteously claims they will be fair and just, yet they take no action against teachers' discrimination towards Asian students; instead, they condone it. Although teachers from the international student office do help us international students, the school consistently turns a blind eye to issues raised by Chinese students.
3. When facing the pandemic, Chinese students had proactively warned the school about the severity of the outbreak. Before the pandemic erupted, all surrounding schools had already permitted and encouraged international students to return to China. However, Heritage's attitude towards international students was: if you leave and cannot return for classes, you will lose all your academic credits for the year. School staff treated Chinese international students' warnings about the pandemic as a joke.
4. To make enough money, the school even plans to have international students return to the US in August for isolation, so they can start classes normally by the end of the month?? At a time of riots in the US, which parent would send their child back to school? All American international students I know have received notices of class suspensions or online classes. Where has the school placed student safety?

2. The school's management of international students is highly systematic and experienced. Although it is a day school, all host families are rigorously selected and matched by the school.

1. The school's robotics club qualified for a global competition and performed exceptionally well. In competition and contest-related programs, Heritage Middle School has always been known as the 'Mathematics Kingdom.' The school's math competition team is ranked #1 in Florida and #1 among private middle schools nationwide. Overall, the school excels strongly in STEM fields.
2. The average SAT score is 1305. 84% of students taking AP exams scored 3 or higher, with an average score of 4.0.
3. Rich curriculum: 21 AP courses, 74 honors courses, 40 college preparatory courses, also including pre-med, pre-law, and pre-engineering programs.
4. Abundant sports and extracurricular activities strengthen students' physique, academics, leadership, and teamwork skills. Boys' tennis, soccer, golf, and basketball, as well as girls' basketball, tennis, soccer, and golf, along with football and softball, have all won championships.
5. There is an award-winning arts program; fine arts, music, and drama have all received various accolades, such as National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Gold and Silver Medals, and American Image Awards. The program also features participation in one-act plays, the Broward All-County Orchestra, the Broward All-County Honor Choir, the Florida Bandmasters Association, and has received awards like the American Choral Directors Association Award, Live-Graphic Design/Architecture Awards, and National Stage Design First Place.
6. If international students encounter living problems, they can consult the dedicated International Student Office and International Student Association for assistance.
7. School security is also very thorough; all vehicles and personnel entering the school undergo strict inspection.

One of the best things the school does for international students is having its own independent international department for dedicated management, rather than entrusting it to third-party agencies. Therefore, host families are either teachers or parents of student alumni. Another point is that the school's tuition is "All-in" (including all books, courses, regular training and exam fees, homestay, insurance fees, and even the school's physical examination is covered, so there's no need to complete a physical exam in your home country; this alone can save tens of thousands of dollars in fees and management costs). The school also offers AP courses in Chinese, which demonstrates its friendliness towards and importance of Chinese people. Furthermore, the area where the school is located is very safe, and school security is excellent. Two security guards are usually at the gate, checking all incoming vehicles and bags. Another notable point is that there are many authentic Chinese restaurants near the school, and eating well might be extremely important for the children. Parents of current students are proactively willing to make calls to endorse the school.
