On-site visit to Bishop Fenwick High School: Excellent location in the Boston suburbs, with a comfortable campus environment. An extremely low student-teacher ratio coupled with 80% highly qualified teachers ensures strong academic education. School teachers develop personalized college admissions plans for students throughout their four years of high school, which is very beneficial for international students. Graduates have achieved good admission results to top universities, and the school also offers abundant art and sports resources, making it a high-quality private school in the Boston area.

Fenwick is only a twenty to thirty-minute drive from downtown Boston, with excellent surrounding educational resources. The school's facilities are extremely modern, offering a wealth of advanced courses (honor courses in all subjects, nearly 20 AP courses, etc.), as well as top-tier drama groups, choirs, and sports teams. International students in the dormitories receive 24-hour care.

Studying at Bishop Fenwick has been very rewarding for me. The teachers are exceptionally dedicated, patiently explaining concepts in class and answering questions after school. It's also easy to find teachers for help after dismissal. The curriculum is well-structured; although AP courses are challenging, teachers guide us step-by-step, ensuring we build a solid foundation. We not only gain knowledge but also develop independent thinking skills, which is very helpful for college.

The campus atmosphere is also very friendly, with no intense competition or feeling of exclusion. Teachers and students are all very supportive of each other. There's a wide range of school activities, such as sports days, clubs, and community service, where everyone can find something they enjoy. I've made many good friends here, and it feels like a warm, big family.

Extracurricular activities are equally exciting. I joined a sports team and experienced a strong sense of teamwork, and every game was thrilling. If sports aren't your thing, there are plenty of other options like drama, music, and volunteer service. My high school life has become more interesting because of this, and I've learned many skills beyond the classroom.

Furthermore, the school also focuses heavily on future planning. Guidance counselors provide advice based on interests and goals, assisting with college applications, writing recommendation letters, and more. Looking back, Fenwick has given me a solid foundation and filled me with confidence for the future!

As someone who studied here, I honestly don't think this is a good choice for Chinese students.
To put it simply, it's not good enough compared to better options, nor is it bad enough to be disregarded entirely.
There's a significant gap between it and really good schools. If you just want to coast by, it's not even a good place for that. To be frank, for the money you'd spend, you could go somewhere better or more comfortable.
Moreover, the proportion of Chinese students is decreasing year by year, and it can't really be called very friendly to Chinese people. It lacks the glamour described. While it might be a good place for the average American, I genuinely don't recommend it for Chinese people.
