Located near the beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee, less than a 2-hour drive from Boston, and about an hour's drive from Manchester (NH) Airport, making transportation very convenient. Sports: Strong in basketball, having produced NBA stars, with jerseys displayed in the school's basketball court. The girls' dormitory was renovated in 2019, fully equipped with modern facilities, offering excellent accommodation.

Brewster Academy, founded in 1820, is a college preparatory school. It is located in New Hampshire in the northeastern United States, less than 2 hours from Boston. In addition to focusing on theoretical knowledge, the school aims to cultivate students' comprehensive qualities: independence, communication skills, practical skills, hands-on ability, leadership skills, self-care ability, teamwork spirit, and organizational skills. These are the principles of the school's education. I once took students to the school for an interview, and the school's environment and facilities were excellent.

School Advantages:

1. Brewster Academy is located in the beautiful town of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, USA, with scenic surroundings, adjacent to Lake Winnipesaukee, a famous American resort.

2. Featured courses: Computer programming, digital photography, computer graphics, 3D animation, web design, video production, robotics.

3. The school has a unified curriculum management system through which all students and teachers submit and approve assignments.

4. The school's arts program is excellent, the faculty is also very good, the curriculum is comprehensive, and private instrument lessons are available.

The primary goal of Brewster Academy's academic program is to help students become passionate, curious, and confident learners. The school upholds its commitment to being student-centered, ensuring that students can learn most effectively. Brewster has a unique collaborative practice group called STAD, where students have the opportunity to learn alongside peers from different grade levels, engage in brainstorming, enrich their collaborative experience, and prepare for future university studies.

Brewster Academy boasts an outstanding sports program, having won regional and even national championships multiple times. The school's sports facilities are comprehensive, including basketball courts, a fitness center, an indoor track, a rowing center, outdoor fields, an ice hockey rink, a golf course, tennis courts, and a climbing gym. 1. Location: In the New England region, within 2.5 hours of Boston. It's a "Lake Region" school, competing in sports with other surrounding boarding schools like KUA and Holderness. The school is located in a small town called Wolfeboro, surrounded by several very beautiful lakes. In summer, it's a very famous resort town, and according to the tour guide, there are some good Asian food options here.
2. A very healthy international student ratio and boarding rate. The entire school has approximately 360 students, 80% of whom are boarders. There are about 20 Chinese students, which is a very healthy number. Approximately 5 to 6 graduate each year. The school is controlling the source and quality of Chinese students, aiming to admit better students in the future, create Ivy League success stories, and facilitate promotion in the Chinese market.
3. Unique team-based teaching. Students in each grade level are divided into different fixed teams for learning, singing, performing plays, and so on. The school places great emphasis on the relationship between the individual and the collective. In your first year as a new student here, your advisor will meet with you 4 times a week, staying updated on your academic and daily life.
4. In my opinion, a drawback of the school is its art curriculum, especially visual arts courses, which are somewhat lacking. However, this doesn't hinder the development of your interests.
5. Basketball is extremely strong; they were national champions last year, defeating sports powerhouse IMG. NBA Jazz star Donovan Mitchell is an alumnus of this school.

Roughly 5 to 6 Chinese students graduate each year. Brewster is only half a mile from Lake Winnipesaukee, America's oldest resort, surrounded by beautiful scenery. Founded in 1820, the school will celebrate its 200th anniversary next year, making it a historic and traditional boarding school. The teacher-student atmosphere is friendly, and college matriculation is excellent. The school emphasizes students' emotional and psychological growth, collaborating with the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence to offer a unique social-emotional curriculum. This curriculum is tailored to the psychological development characteristics of 9th-12th graders, aiming to help students achieve self-awareness, learn to manage emotions, care for others, develop emotional intelligence, and cope with various challenges encountered during growth. The school's art program also has excellent faculty and comprehensive courses, including private instrument lessons.

We visited several schools, and as parents, we did a lot of analysis. However, as soon as our child arrived here, they immediately fell in love with it and rejected all other schools. We found that almost all new Chinese students admitted this year had the same experience. The school's environment and atmosphere (vibe) are excellent; children are the most sensitive to these things. The teachers are also extremely dedicated and responsible. The dormitory design is very cozy, with students living in the same building as a teacher's family. The school population isn't too large, so children genuinely receive parental care and attention from the teachers. As a parent, I am completely at ease. I'd also like to take this opportunity to advise fellow parents: you must trust your interactions with teachers and your child's intuition. Don't rely on online rankings (which often don't reflect reality!). Many schools simply recruit a large number of Asian students to boost their rankings, but in reality, they offer few opportunities for your child's growth. At Brewster, I experienced 200 years of tradition and a deep-seated, understated elite quality.
