I had an incredible experience at Interlochen. To say it changed my life would be an understatement. I entered the academy, and both my academic and artistic education were transformed. I came in not knowing anyone and left the place with lifelong friends. Thanks to the college preparatory resources I had access to, I was able to get into my dream school. It was truly a life-changing experience, and I would do it again if I could.

I first came to camp in 2015-2016 as an intermediate voice and opera student. My singing improved in only three weeks (six weeks total). I came back in my Senior year and studied Writing. While there, I made friends, became a good volleyball player, made great connections with faculty, became a better writer, and got into my dream college. Interlochen is academically rigorous and a place to make unforgettable memories. I'm unbelievably proud to call it my home away from home.

In dance, the school offers rigorous collegiate dance programs, with faculty who are world-renowned ballet, jazz, and choreography artists. The school provides dance students with 25,000 square feet of dance facilities. Students have the opportunity to showcase their best selves in at least three annual dance performances, accompanied live by the Interlochen Orchestra. Interlochen Arts Academy is also known as one of the world's best professional schools for musicians, covering music theory, composition, performance, guitar, piano, and genres including jazz, pop, and more. Students also have numerous opportunities to perform in large ensembles, and the school regularly invites renowned artists from the University of Southern California, the University of Michigan, and the New England Conservatory to provide instruction. The private lessons, lecture courses, and performance opportunities offered by the school lay a solid foundation for students' professional careers.

Interlochen, located in Traverse City, Michigan, spans 1200 acres and is situated between two lakes. In May 2019, it received the Green Ribbon Schools Award and is one of the three most famous arts high schools in the United States. Transportation to the school is not very convenient. The school offers courses in seven art disciplines to meet the diverse needs of students. Graduates who attended through "Liumei.com" (Study in USA Network) have been admitted to Brown University, with excellent feedback.

1) The radio station provides 24-hour programming daily and also joins Traverse City's 94.7 FM classical music channel.
