Data for Miller School: 238 students, student-teacher ratio 1:6, international students 18%, boarding students 60%, teachers with advanced degrees 67%. Miller School is named in honor of Samuel Miller, a successful and wise local entrepreneur from Virginia. After Miller's death, in accordance with his wishes, he donated most of his assets to establish a boarding school in his hometown, Albemarle County, covering an area of 1600 acres. Miller School's picturesque campus was designated a U.S. Historic Landmark in 1979. Miller School emphasizes a curriculum that integrates 'mind, practice, and heart,' fostering student development in character, personal honor, responsibility, arts education, community service, and athletics. The school provides instruction for grades 8-12. Annually, the school updates its 'College Guidance Handbook,' offering college admission counseling information for 11th-grade students, including campus visits by university representatives and participation in Virginia universities' experience days.

I have students who graduated from Miller and were admitted to New York University, Columbia University, and the University of California, Santa Barbara. The students are very grateful to the teachers at Miller Middle School, who were very friendly and provided a lot of help.
