Ross School was founded in 1991. Its upper school campus is located in East Hampton, a beautiful and convenient location approximately a 2-hour drive from downtown New York City. Unlike the bustling and prosperous New York City, students are drawn to Ross School because it preserves a wonderful natural landscape and a rich cultural atmosphere.

School Advantages:

1. **Campus Environment:** The school's student dormitories and classrooms are very new and beautiful, and its campus is situated within a forest.

2. **Core Curriculum:** The school's emphasized curriculum core is global cultural history, and all subjects revolve around this main theme.

3. **Rich Elective Courses:** Over 100 elective courses are offered to students in grades 9-12. Different courses are available each semester, including modern dance, world religions, electronics, and logic, with both year-long and single-semester options. Based on students' interests, exceptional students who cannot find suitable projects among the offered electives or those wishing to delve deeper into a specific area can undertake independent study under the guidance of a faculty mentor.

4. **Extensive Interdisciplinary Integrated Learning:** Every grade level engages with various scientific topics and projects throughout the year, encompassing earth and space science, life science, physical science, environmental science, and other fields including social sciences. Each scientific theme includes extensive inquiry and interdisciplinary integrated learning.

Ross School is located in East Hampton, Long Island, New York. The environment here is exceptionally beautiful, with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. As a Ross student, I believe Ross excels particularly in the arts; some of the art teachers on campus are quite renowned. Additionally, Ross provides all the tools you need for painting or sculpting.
We also have a tennis program (Ross School Tennis Academy) that is one of the top-ranked teams nationwide.
I feel Ross is truly an international school, with students from 32 different countries. Chinese students make up a significant proportion of the school population. So, if you're worried about not seeing your fellow countrymen here, you really don't need to worry about that, haha.
