My child's college entrance exam (Gaokao) results in China were not ideal, and for a time, they felt very lost about the future. We are very fortunate that they later chose the Computer Science and AI undergraduate foundation course at Cambridge St. Andrew's. The school offers small class sizes, with an average of only 8 students. The teachers provided patient, hands-on guidance, which not only helped our child build a solid academic foundation but also greatly boosted their self-confidence and independent thinking skills.
Thanks to the teachers' meticulous nurturing and the school's comprehensive support, our child successfully gained admission to the University of Edinburgh's integrated Master's program in Computer Science, and also received offers from King's College London, the University of Manchester, the University of Birmingham, and the University of Leeds.
We especially want to thank the boarding house staff (warden/residential tutor) for their meticulous care. They not only looked after our child's daily life but also became a comforting source of support in a foreign land. As parents, we are sincerely grateful to Cambridge St. Andrew's for helping our child find direction again after the Gaokao setback and realizing their dream of entering a world-class university.
