St. Andrew’s School (RI) is a relatively small school with a total enrollment of 212 students, which allows for highly personalized management and attention. Students can receive prompt support in academics, extracurricular activities, and even health-related concerns. This aspect is especially important for international students who are new to the U.S., as such an environment makes them feel valued, boosts their confidence, and helps them adapt more easily.

It has a home-like atmosphere. Each graduating class has about 50 students, but due to the small number of students, the course selection is not diverse enough.

St. Andrew's School is located in a quiet town on Rhode Island, with beautiful and very safe surroundings both on and off campus. During a campus visit, one feels very pleasant, and students on the way will proactively greet visitors. The Director of International Admissions is very knowledgeable about China and deeply cares about the adaptation of Chinese students. Student dormitories have recently been renovated. While the campus facilities may not be as grand as those of top schools, they are certainly sufficient. Basketball is a specialty of the school, and both the boys' and girls' teams are very strong. St. Andrew's is only a 10-minute drive from renowned universities on Rhode Island, Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design, and can also be reached by bus, which suits students participating in joint programs and extracurricular activities with these universities. The school's academic system is the IB curriculum, which is rare among private schools in the United States. Academic pressure in grades 9-10 is not high, but it increases sharply upon entering the DP (Diploma Programme), requiring students to prepare in advance.

Rhode Island, officially named The State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, is usually referred to simply as Rhode Island due to its lengthy full name. Geographically, it is the smallest state in the United States of America and also the state with the longest name in the U.S.
Rhode Island has a total area of 3,139 square kilometers. Located in the eastern United States on the western shore of the Atlantic Ocean, it borders Massachusetts to the north and Connecticut to the west. One-tenth of its area is covered by seawater, and its coastline extends for 650 kilometers. No matter where you are in the state, you can reach the coast in less than half an hour by car. Hence its nickname, "The Ocean State." It has long been known as a vacation destination for American tycoons and features the mansions of America's most famous historical figures. The Marble House, hailed as "the most luxurious building in American history," is located here.

When I visited this school in winter, it happened to be snowing heavily. The entire campus was covered in pristine white snow, pure, bright, spotless, and incredibly beautiful. The school has strong arts programs, especially visual arts, with a dedicated art building. Upon entering the art building, you can see various student works displayed there. Their drama program is also very professional. The admissions office teachers were particularly enthusiastic and patiently introduced every corner of the school. According to feedback from current students, the school values every single student.

It covers an area of 70 acres and boasts excellent teaching facilities. The school currently has a total of 208 students, with 93 boarding students, including 41 Chinese students; the remaining students are day students.
The school offers a limited number of AP courses, only 7 in total: AP Calculus, AP English Language and Composition, AP English Literature, AP European History, AP Physics, AP Statistics, and AP United States History. The school's sports programs are highly outstanding; last year, the basketball team won the New England regional championship, and the tennis team is this year's champion.
St. Andrew's teaching philosophy is to fully recognize individual student differences in instruction and to convey the concept of "learning from each other's strengths and compensating for weaknesses," allowing students to compete and grow together within the school's family-like environment.
The school has a total of 100 faculty and staff members, over 80% of whom hold advanced degrees. In terms of teaching, the school adopts a small class system, with an average of 16 students per class and a student-to-teacher ratio of 1:8.
