I have personally visited Staten Island Academy. Some students from Liumei.com attend this school, and the overall feedback has been quite positive. It is a small but excellent school with a high level of attention to students, and the academics are quite challenging. The school is located in an affluent area, about a 30-minute drive from Manhattan. The school offers a Power Track Mathematics program.
1. Power Track Math Program: This is Staten Island's premier math program, designed to help students prepare for college. All returning students complete Algebra 1 in middle school and Geometry in 9th grade. Generally, new students start with Algebra 1, and the curriculum includes Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB, and AP Calculus BC.
2. College Counseling: The college counseling team is led by the former president of the New York State Association for College Admission Counseling. They develop individualized plans based on each student's needs, academic performance, and extracurricular interests.
3. Every year, 9th-grade students go on an approximately week-long study trip to London, emphasizing international education and exchange. This school is suitable for students with above-average academic abilities.

My son attended this school, and what I observed was different from the agency's impression. Interested parents can private message me.

This school is much better than the reviews suggest. It's a fantastic school with a great teaching atmosphere, strong academics, and excellent sports. There are no tall buildings around, making it a very good area on the island.
