My daughter is going from 6th to 7th grade to study at Thayer. The school left a very good impression on me. The environment is beautiful, and most importantly, the teachers are very nice, the academic requirements are rigorous, and home-school communication is close and smooth. This is what made me particularly satisfied.

Following up on the previous review:
7. Global Scholars Program: The Thayer-Capyer Program combines the experience of global academia with its practical applications, fostering a global academic understanding of global issues.

9. Small Astronomical Observatory: The school also has a small astronomical observatory, named after the donor alumnus Dr. Cahall. Dr. Cahall co-founded this observatory with Don Donovan, Chairman of the American Department of Science. Dr. Cahall not only contributed to the school's astronomy curriculum but also consistently dedicated himself to the establishment of the infrastructure of Salle Middle School, promoting the professional authority of the biology, chemistry, and physics subjects.

10. Banelli Writing Center: The writing center provides students with assistance throughout all stages of the writing process.

11. Collaborative Design Lab: This one-semester course introduces students to collaborative problem-solving and independent thinking.

12. Excellent College Counseling: Three college counselors ensure every student receives dedicated guidance and assistance.

13. Graduate Project: The pursuit of "excellence" is a school tradition, and the school has high expectations for its graduates. The graduate project will be one of the graduation requirements. Past forms include: collecting plants in New Hampshire, composing music for local conservatories, working for representatives on Beacon Hill in Boston and Capitol Hill in Washington, overseas exchanges, community service, and work experience at law firms and private companies.

I once personally visited and inspected Thayer Academy. The school environment is very beautiful, covering an area of 34 acres. Its transportation is very convenient, located at the terminal station of the Red Line subway. The school's academics are excellent, and furthermore, the school places more emphasis on well-rounded talents in sports, music, and art. Thayer Academy offers a rigorous and challenging college preparatory curriculum, attracting students from diverse social, racial, economic groups, and academic backgrounds.

The school's computer program is very strong, focusing on academics and providing multi-faceted academic support such as a writing center, a technology center, and 6 professional computer and technology teachers.

The arts are very strong; dance, drama, and music are all superb! There are three major stage play performances each year. The school also offers private vocal and instrument lessons to assist students who plan to choose art universities in preparing their art portfolios. For students who love art, this school is an excellent choice.

The school's sports program is very strong and has won numerous awards. The school has 70 programs that have won New England championships, such as girls' cross country and girls' soccer.

The school has four sister schools located in France, India, China, and the United Kingdom, offering exchange programs.
