There must be a reason why Finding School's ranking is like this (compared to Niche). After several interactions, I felt TMI truly has that unique Texas vibe, indeed a TX school. What's the school like? Students who have lived there probably have more insights.

TMI is situated in the hilly region outside downtown San Antonio, Texas, a city that ranks as the second-largest in Texas and seventh-largest in the U.S. Texas leads the nation in livestock farming, and most of the state enjoys a temperate climate. The school has been lauded as 'the most beautiful high school campus in Texas.' TMI's rich legacy of excellence and leadership largely originates from the Corps of Cadets, established concurrently with the school in 1893. As one of the highest-ranked Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) programs in the United States, this elective program employs a military-style framework to foster leadership, instilling values such as integrity, reliability, self-discipline, commitment, respect, and loyalty through the Corps. The program is accessible to all students in grades 6-12, with around 30% of TMI students participating each year. U.S. Army General Douglas MacArthur is TMI's most renowned alumnus, and numerous other graduates have gone on to become bishops, members of Congress, university presidents, and staff serving leaders globally. Graduates from the school achieve remarkable outcomes, boasting a 3% Ivy League acceptance rate, and collectively securing approximately $9.25 million in college scholarships annually.
