University Lake School

University Lake Middle School provided a wonderful environment for my son to discover himself. Concerts and musicals were a particular highlight of his time at the school. It was exciting to see his confidence grow as his talents in singing and performing developed. We are grateful to all the teachers who nurtured and encouraged him, as well as WIA, the fully-managed guardianship agency we chose. This fully-managed boarding institution, specifically designed for young Chinese international students, truly provided the safest and most secure transition for me to send my child abroad early.

University Lake Middle School's outdoor education deepened my interest in learning leadership and management, and encouraged me to push myself out of my comfort zone.

After visiting the school, University Lake School is an amazing place! The teachers here are full of passion and talent, there are forward-thinking administrators, and spaces designed for love and learning. I wish I could be a child again and have the opportunity to think, learn, grow, and develop in such a place.

The biggest difference between American schools and Chinese domestic schools is probably the smaller class sizes, right? The reduction in student numbers means that everyone can enjoy ample academic and extracurricular resources. University Lake School organizes about 10 themed field trips annually, ensuring that every student participates in all aspects of preparation, planning, and execution. Due to the school's outstanding Spanish program, students are also organized to travel to Spain during holidays to experience Spanish culture. The school even offers genuine visual arts and music drama programs from grades 7 to 12. University Lake School students participate in art competitions held by the Milwaukee Art Museum, one of the top four art museums in the United States, winning over 10 awards every year! Moreover, most students can participate in the rehearsal and production of large-scale drama and opera. This school can be called a 'mini-university.' This is also why it has an extremely high Ivy League acceptance rate!
