Brimmer and May is a very inclusive school in all aspects. Children quickly integrated upon arriving in the US. The relationships among students are very friendly, and teachers are very caring towards the children. Every day at school, the children feel very happy. At each stage, the school issues report cards with detailed comments from teachers for each subject. Students with good academic performance receive congratulatory letters signed by the principal, which greatly encourages them. There is a lot of interaction among Chinese parents, and they actively participate in various school activities.

Brimmer and May School is located in the affluent Chestnut Hill area of Massachusetts, less than a 20-minute drive from downtown Boston, Harvard, and MIT. The environment is natural and comfortable, ideal for students to focus on their studies. It was once recognized by the National Association of Independent Schools as one of eight "model schools," a small yet excellent day school in Boston.

The school offers a variety of programs for students, including the Creative Arts Diploma Program (CAP), Global Studies Diploma Program (GSP), Winterim (international travel program), Senior Thesis Program, and special diploma courses in STEAM (fields with a scarcity of talent in the U.S.).

The sports program is excellent; the boys' basketball team won the Massachusetts basketball league championship for four consecutive years.

The school's art courses are also a major highlight, emphasizing the cultivation of visual arts, music, and drama, aimed at enhancing students' artistic accomplishment and fostering an appreciation for pottery. The biggest highlight of the school is its rich journalism and media courses.

In recent years, graduates have been admitted to institutions like Harvard, MIT, Boston University, and Boston College. A student from Liuxue.com attended the school and was arranged to live with a Harvard professor that year.

The school's curriculum is very rich. Three teachers at the school speak Chinese: one is an admissions officer, one is a Chinese language teacher, and one is an American teacher who has lived in China for many years. All provide assistance to Chinese students.

It is strongly not recommended to attend. The school previously signed an agreement with a Boston-based agency to recruit students on their behalf and collect fees. However, in September 2019, this Boston agency declared bankruptcy. At this point, the school made various excuses to deny its partnership with this agency, demanding families pay fees again! The school's behavior is equivalent to: when the partner agency was doing well and recruiting students for them, everything was fine, but when the partner agency they themselves signed an agreement with went bankrupt, they pushed the agency away and disavowed their relationship with it! May I ask, with such an irresponsible attitude, how can they educate students well? When the school's board made the decision to make families pay again, did they consider that they are a school that educates and nurtures, and if the school itself lacks responsibility and accountability, how can it educate its own students? At the same time, we learned that multiple schools involved in Boston, upon hearing the news of the agency's bankruptcy, immediately informed families not to worry, stating that the school would waive the students' tuition fees to protect their children's studies from any impact! Therefore, regarding Brimmer & May School's decision to make families pay twice (tuition fees are nearly $50,000 per year), we are extremely shocked and disheartened! Therefore, we decided to write this matter out to inform all Chinese families: if you encounter a school like BRIMMER, please steer clear! No matter how good a school is, it still needs to return to the essence of being human. A school that lacks even the most basic sense of responsibility and accountability is not worth attending!
