If a child is relatively independent, extroverted, and has good English proficiency, then Boan Bolton is definitely an excellent choice. The teachers are all exceptionally friendly and highly encourage students to communicate with them after class. The international department teachers are also very kind and proactive in solving issues for international students. The school offers the option of staying in dorms or with host families. The compatibility between host families and students can be hit or miss, but the dorms are generally excellent, having recently updated their facilities, which is great. The dorms have plenty of food and appliances, so parents don't need to worry about their child's meals. The school's hardware is also very impressive. Each student is equipped with the latest iPad Pro, and iMac computers are also frequently updated. The school's film courses are particularly good, featuring industry-standard hardware and software. Although the academic workload might not be as heavy as many top-ranked schools, if students participate in extracurricular activities, their lives will still be busy and fulfilling. Since 2015, the school has built a new mountain campus, where students can sign up for semester-long courses. At the mountain campus, students can learn outdoor knowledge and camping skills. If a child can proactively utilize these resources, they will surely be very happy!
