Upon returning from my school visit, what impressed me most about Dominican High School, beyond its excellent A+ overall rating on Niche, was how outstanding its clubs and activity programs were, despite its academic excellence. 95% of the students at the school participate in club activities. In addition to the usual clubs we often hear about, such as music, choir, sports, drama, chess, and science, there were also some clubs I had never heard of before, like the Truth Society Club, Mosaic Craft Club, Entrepreneurship Club, and Knight Life Club. This just shows you never know how rich and diverse other people's high school lives can be! Dominican High School's production of 'The Little Mermaid' also received over 20 nominations at the American musical Tommy Awards, ultimately winning 5 major awards! Dominican High School has always been known for its exceptional teaching standards, but I never expected that beyond its strong academic side, Dominican also has so many powerful extracurricular programs. Students at Dominican can receive comprehensive development in many aspects, improving their overall quality. The opportunity to enjoy high-level teaching while also receiving high-quality guidance in arts, sports, and other comprehensive programs is rare, not to mention in Chinese high schools, but even in the highly competitive American education sector. Children studying in such an elite high school are bound to grow into well-rounded talents.
