Located in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, this school was founded in 1897. It is a private, Catholic school with over a century of history, dedicated to providing quality education for young people preparing for college. We have had students attend this school, and I have personally visited it; the academics are very rigorous.

School Advantages:

1. The school boasts advanced facilities, including the newly opened Holt Center (2018), Conwell Hall, Family Innovation Center, STEM Tower, and more.

2. Offers 20 AP courses, 20 Honors courses, 18 Art courses, as well as courses in Finance, Forensic Science, VEX Robotics, and more for students to choose from. It also features activities like math modeling competitions, multiple local exhibitions, painting competitions, etc.

3. Dual Enrollment Program in partnership with Duquesne University: Students will have the opportunity to complete undergraduate and professional studies at Duquesne. Through this program, students can earn up to 30 college credits, which can be used to apply for a Duquesne University degree or be transferred to many public and private colleges and universities.

4. Montgomery Scholars Program: Launched in the fall of 2016, it provides additional academic support and intervention for HGP students admitted to the program. MSP offers personalized support from learning support specialists, enabling each student to grow into an independent learner.

5. Outstanding Athletics: The Firebirds team has won hundreds of championship titles in its athletic history; graduates have gone on to compete for Team USA in the 2018 Winter Olympics, participate three times in the U.S. Open Golf Championship, and play professional hockey; from 2016-2018, the school was recognized for three consecutive years as a recipient of the PIAA District One Sportsmanship Award.
