ILTexas High School prepared me extensively for college. Whether it was the SAT, American college entrance exams, or the application essay writing process, dedicated teachers were responsible for each. During my time at school, there were also many activities organized, which allowed me to better integrate into American society and life, and make many good friends. Throughout this process, I was able to enjoy the diverse aspects of high school life, developing well in sports and cultural entertainment. I even participated in a statewide drama competition in Texas, which not only honed my English but also provided an excellent platform to showcase my talent. ILTexas also highly respects Chinese cultural backgrounds; sometimes I would even serve as a Chinese tutor at school, communicating in Chinese with many American classmates. It's worth mentioning that the school's arrangement of many AP and dual-credit courses allowed me to complete 57 credits before university, equivalent to about two years of college credits. This saved me both time and a substantial amount of tuition fees when I later attended university. The school also arranged study trips for us in the United States and Spain, allowing us to personally experience and understand the local history and language, which broadened my horizons.
