I know the teachers will focus on each student, so we should be well taken care of here. When I first arrived, I was a little afraid I wouldn't be able to make friends because I'm quite shy. But it's great because other people – mostly international kids and some domestic kids – are also far from home. And everyone is very friendly; there's nothing to be afraid of. That was definitely something new for me. Hanoi, where I live, is a big city, and you see people everywhere, buildings and cars, and it never stops. Here everything is very quiet. It's gentle and peaceful; sometimes it's too quiet, but you get used to it. It brings a different vibe. In the city, everyone is always very busy. Here, life just slows down a bit, and that's great. I play the piano. Last year I joined the band, which was a lot of fun. I like all the classes. At most there are only about 10 kids, so it feels very intimate. We get to know the teachers on a more personal level, so I think that's a very good thing.
