Park School of Baltimore

Park School is a non-sectarian, century-old school located on a 100-acre campus in Baltimore, Maryland, just 3 miles from downtown and a few minutes' drive away. It offers a wide range of electives, accelerated courses, and independent study options for students.

1. Advanced facilities, including a 42,000 sq ft athletic center, a 44,000 sq ft arts center, and a rooftop observatory.

2. Excellent faculty: 101 full-time teachers, 85 of whom hold postgraduate degrees or higher, including 5 PhDs in Philosophy, 1 JD (Doctor of Law), and 1 EdD (Doctor of Education).

3. Notable clubs include a beekeeping project, an international student Arctic monitoring and research project, and a mock trial team (which has won 4 championships in competitions with students from other schools).

4. Senior Project: Twelfth-grade students undertake a six-week project at the end of the spring semester, working in various service or government agencies, schools, hospitals, or businesses, or choosing to develop academic interests, research specific topics with expert mentors, or engage in art projects outside the scope of their courses at Park.

5. Music offers individual private lessons: 28 private lessons are tailored to each student's needs and goals, including technique, music theory, and performance skills. The Professional Musicians Academy provides instruction in 16 different instruments, including piano, guitar, drums, and wind instruments.

6. Art facilities include the 44,000 sq ft Wyman Arts Center, which houses the Richman Gallery, photography studios, a jewelry cutting classroom, the Harvey M. Meyerhoff Theater, a black box theater, and more.
