As a recent TCS graduate, I wrote in my grad quote, “My [4 years] life here has been the HAPPIEST,” and that’s NOT exaggerated at all! TCS has transformed teenage me not only academically and artistically but in LIFE. This place rekindled my passion for music, pushed me further and beyond into accomplishing some of the greatest achievements I could have never imagined, taught me how much I still have to learn, and farewelled a grown-up me who’ll treasure everything and everyone here...

Trinity College School (TCS) is a co-educational independent boarding and day school, founded in 1865. It is one of Canada's oldest and most respected educational institutions, located in the picturesque Port Hope, Ontario, Canada, about an hour's drive east of Toronto. The Senior School (Grades 9-12) has approximately 450 students, 60% of whom are boarders. Our Junior School comprises about 100 day students in Grades 5-8. Our mission is to cultivate habits of wholehearted living in students to achieve their goals and a purpose of service. Habits such as courage, creativity, compassion, integrity, and perseverance are embedded in our liberal arts curriculum and our comprehensive integrated programs in athletics, the arts, and service learning. By offering a robust boarding program that extends beyond typical school hours, both our boarding and day students fully participate in TCS's extracurricular activities.

I am a parent at TCS, and my child has been studying here for two years. This school has beautiful scenery, a long history, and the teachers are excellent, very patient, and full of love. What impressed me the most is that the boarding students have many activities, which are very rich, interesting, and imaginative. The number of Chinese students has been increasing in recent years.

As a recent graduate of TCS, I wholeheartedly recommend this school. Beyond its strong academic programs, including research opportunities and AP courses, TCS offers a wealth of activities. Students can join musical performances, competitive sports, and instrumental bands, all contributing to an enriching experience. Moreover, as someone who frequently reviews the “employment opportunities” on the TCS webpage, I hope to secure a one-year internship on campus to support the faculty and community.
