Baylor is a hidden gem, truly the best school in many aspects, including academics, extracurriculars (EC), facilities, and its community. My child's dormitory life was an exceptionally good experience, exceeding expectations. They were able to grow significantly academically and develop confidence by actively participating in various school activities. It was especially gratifying that teachers, friends, and even local parents generously supported and helped whenever new ideas or activities were initiated. Living in the dormitory, I felt that it wasn't just a school but truly a family-like place. The thoughtful care and warm treatment given to students living away from home helped my child feel secure and enjoy school life. Above all, the campus is incredibly beautiful, and the dormitory food offers a diverse menu with excellent quality, so it was fortunate that my child ate well and thrived.

Baylor is a beautiful school with a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. The cafeteria offers a rotating variety of international dishes. The teachers are lovely and provide excellent support to foreign students. Friends and parents are also wonderful. My child is very happy and has gained great experiences. The curriculum, including extracurricular activities, is excellent, and its sports programs are particularly outstanding.

I have been studying at Baylor for 2 years, and I really love our school. First of all, the school's location is excellent; the surroundings are very safe, and it's only a 5-minute drive from downtown Chattanooga. Chattanooga has a very pleasant climate all year round, with many mountains nearby, and the school is situated next to the Tennessee River. Chattanooga is a paradise for outdoor sports. The school offers a unique 'Walkabout' program (outdoor activities), providing students with various outdoor sports facilities, including rock climbing, paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing, skiing, and more. The school has many holidays, and during breaks, the Walkabout program organizes trips to various places, both within the US and in other countries. These trips include surfing, kayaking, skiing, diving, hiking, camping, etc., making them very convenient and fun. The cafeteria food is exceptionally delicious, and during Chinese festivals, they even offer special Chinese cuisine. They also celebrate many other international holidays. The school provides a learning center and extra help to assist students with their studies. There is a wide variety of extracurricular activities, including various arts and sports, as well as niche courses like gardening and a student magazine club. The school is rich in resources, offering a special research course for students in 10th grade and above. This allows them to get a feel for university-level research in advance, and if their work is good, it can even be published, which is very helpful for college applications. The school has free access to a gym, basketball courts, piano rooms, dance studios, and more, providing a rich selection of weekend activities.

Our child is a rising ninth grader, entering Baylor in 2025. Baylor was the last stop on our school visit itinerary at the time. Although we were very fond of Mercersburg and Culver before that, when we arrived at Baylor, our child unequivocally declared, 'This is it!' Facts have also proven that our choice was correct.
Baylor's campus is absolutely top 1 among the 7 schools we visited. It's nestled against the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, surrounded on three sides by the Tennessee River, with lush greenery and sparkling water everywhere. The city it's located in, Chattanooga, is itself one of America's best outdoor cities.
Baylor's curriculum is well-structured and appropriately challenging. The Learning Center is definitely a highlight, where students can seek one-on-one tutoring from teachers. Many of Baylor's sports programs are D1 level nationally. Our child chose rowing and baseball in two separate semesters (he already practiced baseball), and gained a lot.
Boarding life at Baylor couldn't be more pleasant, with a rich array of clubs and sports activities. From personal experience, I can responsibly say that the meals provided by Baylor's cafeteria are quite rich and nutritionally balanced.
I must mention one significant advantage of Baylor: Ms. Jenny. As an admissions officer, she is also the anchor for our children thousands of miles away. Here, I want to especially thank Ms. Jenny and all the teachers at the school for the tremendous help they've given our child. Ms. Jenny thoughtfully organizes birthday parties for every Chinese student. In short, having someone from our own background at the school is incredibly reassuring!
