Emphasizes humanistic care, with a broad scope in the arts, including studio art, fine art, ceramics, photography, dance, theater, music, and film production.
It is very close to Boston. A proponent of American progressive education, its curriculum implements a module system with 7 modules per year, each lasting 5 weeks. During these 5 weeks, students only study 3 courses, enabling deeper and more thorough learning with high efficiency. The arts program is very strong, featuring a dedicated performing arts center.
It highly values social justice, focusing on issues such as gender equality, immigration, race, and poverty. It is the first private boarding high school to make social justice a compulsory course. Feminism is emphasized.

As a student graduating next year, I want to say that sometimes the school is really disappointing. It feels like the school is just a commercial organization that fundamentally puts money first. They are even unwilling to spend money to install a few more access control systems for convenience, making students take a detour, claiming it's too expensive. Yet, international students' tuition is so expensive.
Furthermore, with online classes this year, students didn't live for all four quarters, but the school isn't refunding meal plan fees, dorm fees, or anything like that. This feels really absurd. I completely understand and have no problem with tuition not being refunded, but I can't understand the meal plan and dorm fees.
On the contrary, the school constantly asks international students' parents for donations. I really don't know why. Where does all the money go??? Moreover, the proportion of international students is gradually increasing each year, so I advise everyone to think carefully before coming here. I am also preparing to transfer.
