Brooks excels in science, especially in mathematics and biology. The school offers a wide range of elective courses each year, giving students the opportunity to learn subjects beyond textbooks, such as "Crime Scene Investigation." In this course, students need to collect DNA samples at a pre-set crime scene and use the DNA knowledge learned in class to deduce the suspect.

In addition, the school has 8 science laboratories and 1 robotics laboratory, which demonstrates its emphasis on science. Brooks also has cooperative internship programs with Harvard University and MIT. There are also abundant resources in biomedical fields. Students who excel in this area have the opportunity to intern at nearby hospital research institutes. Every year, the school organizes students to intern at Boston Hospital, Apple Inc. headquarters, and design institutes. The head of neurology at Boston Hospital personally guides students through clinical trials, and the school also takes students to Apple Inc. headquarters in California to study courses like robotics and hardware engineering.

Brooks also offers many distinctive programs, including Anatomy and Physiology, Environmental Science, Robotics, Royce Independent Research Project, Multivariable Calculus, Engineering Digital Design, Engineering Product Design, Computer Programming, and Coding.
