1. Computer Science: The school offers four courses: Computer Programming, AP Computer Science, Data Structures and Algorithms, and Advanced Topics in Computer Science.

2. Projects: Every student designs their own project each year. Grades 9, 10, 11: Project Week is one week at the end of January, during which students in grades 9, 10, and 11 engage in extensive internships and independent art projects across Boston. Grade 12: Senior Project. The Senior Project occupies three weeks in March. It is hoped that more experienced students will be able to find and undertake challenging work in new environments.

3. Senior Capstone: If a student is passionate about a particular subject and demonstrates intellectual ability and self-motivation, they will have the opportunity to apply for a year of independent study under the guidance of a faculty mentor.

4. Travel Study: Studying in the Commonwealth allows students to experience another culture through exchange and travel. During the March spring break, the school's own students travel with faculty chaperones to Spain and France. The goal is for all participants to engage in two-way exchange. When French and Spanish students are in Boston, students and teachers provide special classes and sponsored social activities. Latin American students often travel to Rome and Pompeii for another chaperoned trip in March.
